Degree and License: Kady earned a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton. She also earned an Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer from Mt. San Antonio College. During her graduate studies, Kady wrote her thesis on the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral group therapy in treating problematic gaming. Clinical Experience: Kady completed her counseling traineeship at Rio Hondo College’s Student Health & Psychological Services center, where she provided individual counseling as well as group counseling for former foster youth, survivors of sexual assault, and those experiencing grief and loss.
Treatment Approach: Kady strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported in expressing their authentic thoughts and emotions. She understands the profound influence of identity, values, and life experiences on mental health and collaborates with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their needs. Her approach integrates person-centered, trauma-informed, and feminist principles.
