Degree and License: Anna earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Doctorate of Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, Los Angeles.

Clinical Experience: Before working in Higher Education, Anna has practiced in many clinical settings including private practice, residential care facilities, hospital and outpatient care, and school-based counseling (Elementary through High School). Her experience also includes teaching master’s level students in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University.
Treatment Approach: Anna strives to create a safe and welcoming environment for all who enter the therapeutic space. She views counseling through a Narrative Therapy lens – taking time to explore diversity factors and client’s unique life stories. She assists clients in rewriting their narratives with the use of various clinical techniques. She echoes the saying, “The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem”.
