Date and time
Monday, April 22, 2024 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Location

Description

Students with disabilities are one of the fastest-growing populations in higher education. While accommodations are effective and valuable, there are more ways educators can adjust learning environments to support students with disabilities and their non-disabled peers in thriving and succeeding. This is where Universal Design for Learning (UDL) comes in. Join the Neurodivergen Collective for a Zoom panel comprised of Cal State LA faculty and staff who study and successfully implement principles of UDL in their classrooms. Our panelists include Dr. Pau Abustan (Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies), Sara Black (College of Professional and Global Education), and Dr. Denia Bradshaw (Music Department Coordinator). Please sign up in advance.
