Judges
Faculty members from all disciplines are encouraged to volunteer as judges for the yearly Student Symposium on Research, Scholarship & Creative Activities. Due to the wide range of topics covered by students in their presentations, judges from various departments are essential. If you wish to participate as a judge, please complete the Volunteer Judge Form. You will be contacted with further details.

- Watch a set of 10-minute pre-recorded student presentations and read their abstracts by Thursday, March 10, 2022
- Virtually attend an Oral Judges meeting at 8 am on the date of the event, Friday, March 18, 2022
- Virtually attend their presentations sessions from 8:45 am to end sometime between 11 am and 12:30 pm, depending on the discipline
Poster Judges will be asked to:
- Read student abstracts and watch a set of five-minute pre-recorded student presentations by Friday, March 18, 2022
- Evaluate and score each of their assigned posters
- Submit the scores
Moderators and Timekeepers for Oral Presentations
Each year we look for students to act as Oral Sessions Moderators/Timekeepers for the Student Symposium, which will be held this year on Friday, March 18, 2022. If you are not presenting--in Oral or Posters--we encourage you to volunteer as a Moderator or a Timekeeper from approximately 8 am to 1 pm (depending on the discipline).
