Need personalized help with your research? Student Research Consultants (SRCs) and Librarians offer one-on-one support, in-person or online, to help strengthen your research skills, and gain confidence in finding, evaluating and citing sources.
Student Research Consultants
Student Research Consultants are Cal State LA students trained to help you get started with research and citations.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am - 5pm (Fall and Spring semesters)
Appointments:
- In-person - 1st floor Library North (glass cubicles)
- Online - via Zoom (through Navigate)
SRCs can help you:
- Get started with your research topic
- Develop and refine keywords
- Find articles, books and other sources
- Understand citation styles and use citation tools

The purpose of research help is to guide students in developing research skills and build self-sufficiency.
