  Gabriel is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. He completed his undergraduate degree at Cal State LA in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Economics. He is originally from Mexico and came to the Los Angeles area as a child and is a first-generation college student. He has a passion for music since his youth and has turned that into a career as a Mariachi musician. He strives to give back to his community by volunteering at local school’s music programs and coaching youth baseball. 

   Raylene is a Fellow in the Honors College and a graduate student at California State University, Los Angeles, pursuing a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential to become an elementary educator. She is a proud first-generation college student and alumna of Cal State LA, where she earned her B.A. in Child Development. Through her fellowship, she conducts research on leadership, character, and virtues within higher education. Her passion for equity, ethical leadership, and inclusive education informs her commitment to creating supportive learning environments. Raylene is excited to bring both research and practical experience into the classroom to help students thrive academically and personally.

   Lyle is a second-year graduate student in the MFA program for Theatre, Film and Television with focus in Acting. They graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Science, Technology and Society (STS). Prior to moving to the United States, they completed their secondary education around the world in Kuwait, Bahrain and Ethiopia. They are fortunate to have such diverse educational experiences and aim to bring a globalized perspective to both science and the arts.
