Honors Convocation is a special event that honors Cal State LA students who achieved a 3.9 GPA and above during Spring 2018 and/or Fall 2018 of the Dean's List honorees, special recognition in Graduate Studies, special recognition in Honors College, and Honor Society inductees during the 2018-2019 academic year (August 2018 – May 2019).
Dean’s List Eligibility: Undergraduate students who earn a GPA average of 3.5 or higher in 12 or more graded course work in one term from January 2018 -December 2018.
Honors College Eligibility: Students who earn a GPA average of 3.5 or higher in 12 or more graded course work in one semester and who ranks in the upper 5% of students in academic achievement from January 2018- December 2018.
Graduate Recognition Eligibility: Students who have maintained a GPA of 3.8 or higher in 80% or more of their required program and have received special recognition from their department from January 2018 - December 2018.
Honor Societies Eligibility: New inductees to the honor societies from August 2018 – May 2019.
