Students who are accepted into EOP will be invited to participate in one of three summer transitional programs – Summer Bridge, Transfer Bridge or Mini Bridge. All three programs are offered at no charge and are designed to prepare students for University life.

Summer Bridge
Summer Bridge is an engaging and exciting five-week summer transitional experience for a limited number of newly admitted EOP first-time freshmen. Program participation is by invitation only for selected students.
The program provides:
- Early academic preparation prior to the start of the fall semester
- Opportunities to earn units towards your degree
- Connections with other students
- Mentoring opportunities with other EOP alumni and staff
- Access to essential campus resources to finalize matriculation
- Confirmation of your registration for fall classes
- Guidance and support with financial aid application and related questions
- Review of your on-campus housing plans (as needed)

Transfer Bridge
The EOP Transfer Bridge Program is an exciting, virtual eight-week, transitional experience for a limited number of newly-admitted EOP transfer students.
Transfer Bridge provides:
- Educational counseling services
- Connection to valuable resources
- Mentorship and guidance
- Students have an opportunity to earn 3 units towards their degree
- Community building with staff, faculty, and other students

An introduction to the academic, social, and personal aspects of EOP and the University that will support your success! EOP counselor hosts engaging activities that clarify ‘what’s next’ and ‘what to expect’ while fostering peer networking and community building.
