General Eligibility
EOP is available to graduating high school seniors and upper-division undergraduate college transfer students with 60 or more transferable units. You are eligible for EOP if:
- You are a California resident or qualify for AB 540/2000 nonresident tuition exemption.
- Neither parent has received a four-year college degree.
- Your family meets the EOP Income Guidelines.
Spring 2025
The Spring 2025 application is open to domestic lower-division transfer and upper-division transfer applicants and returning students for select majors. To apply for EOP, you must complete Cal State Apply (our application is integrated within).
The following majors are CLOSED to the indicated student types for Spring 2025:
- Computer Sciences BS
- Fire Protection Administration Technology BS
- Nursing BS
- Psychology BA
- Social Work BA
- Television, Film and Media Studies BA
- Nursing – Basic Pre-Licensure BSN
