Fall 2026 Enrichment Activities

Our Enrichment Activities, online and in person, cover various topics to help you maximize your experience at Cal State LA. EOP first time freshman students must attend a minimum of three Enrichment Workshops per semester. EOP first time transfer students must attend a minimum of one Enrichment Workshops per semester. If you are experiencing academic challenges, please contact your EOP counselor.

If you attend a non-EOP workshop or activity (university workshop/event), let us know by filling out the Enrichment Activity Attendance Form.

September

9/10 – EOP Open House 

11 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Join us for the EOP Open House to learn about EOP’s history and impact, connect with our team, enjoy refreshments, visit our photo booth, and participate in an opportunity drawing. All EOP students, faculty, staff, and campus partners are welcome.


9/17 – Golden Eagle Wellness 101

Join us for Golden Eagle Wellness 101, an interactive, activity-based workshop presented by EOP alumna Stephanie Orjiakor from the Student Health Center. Explore the 8 Dimensions of Wellness, reflect on your own well-being, and discover Cal State LA campus resources that can help you thrive in all eight areas


9/17 – Get Experience Fair

September 17 | 12:30–3:30 p.m. | University Gym
 

Want to gain experience related to your major while you’re still in school? Come to the Get Experience Fair to meet employers offering internships, part-time jobs, and on-campus student opportunities. This workshop counts as an enrichment activity for all first-year and transfer students, so please stop by our table and scan the QR code for credit. 

Students will need to create a Handshake account to log on and sign up for this event. 


9/23 – Real Estate Literacy Workshop With Aaron Hernandez

EOP is partnering with the CSULA Real Estate Club to host an introductory workshop designed to help students develop practical life skills. Attendees will learn fundamental real estate concepts and explore how these concepts relate to financial literacy, informed decision-making, budgeting, and future planning. 9/29 – Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
