Fall 2021 Virtual Enrichment Workshops

Our Enrichment Workshops cover a range of topics to help you maximize your experience at Cal State LA. EOP students must attend a minimum of three Enrichment Workshops per semester. If you are experiencing academic challenges, please contact your EOP counselor to schedule an advisement appointment.

If you attend a non-EOP workshop or activity, let us know by filling out the Enrichment Activity Attendance Form.


EOP Transfer Student Welcome Fall 21

Welcome transfer students during their first year at Cal State LA. This will allow meeting with me as their EOP counselor, and other fellow students cohort. Plan to invite special programs/departments on campus for resources.

Reducing the Culture Shock of Adjusting to College

Am I on the Right Track? Pre-Major Degree Planning for Timely Graduation

GET the Navigation to Your Degree! This workshop will teach you to review the university's  Lower Division General Education (LDGE) chart and your graduation requirements.  Your degree coordinates are tied to your Pre-Major and the MSCs (Major Specific Criteria) you need to complete to declare a major.  Plug-in these coordinates in your Degree Planner and participate in an educational planning activity that will lead you to your degree destination!

Are You Ready For Midterms/Finals Mentally and Physically? Wellness Workshop

Friday, October 1 | 1 – 2:30 p.m. | Location: Zoom

This Program is a hands-on wellness workshop that teaches students how to prepare themselves mentally and physically for exams. Students will learn what types of foods improve their cognitive skills, how to keep their body fit for exams, and how to relax the mind from test anxiety. In addition, students will learn about campus resources and quick tips on how to better prepare for exams.

Description: EOP Transfer Students will effectively learn and/or improved how to communicate with their professors using key communication skills, tools, and resources. This program will empower students to feel comfortable, and ask questions while contacting their professors online, in-person, on the telephone, and by email.
