Biography

Rodrego A. Byerly is an educator, entrepreneur, and investment banker. He teaches undergraduate and MBA-level courses in the Management Department of Cal State LA. His interests include power and influence in business, entrepreneurship, negotiations, persuasion, deal-making, business ethics, leadership and administration, and strategic decision making.

Mr. Byerly has more than 15 years of investment banking experience representing Boards of Directors, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients in matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financing, corporate strategy, and stakeholder management. He is the Managing Director of Evitarus, a strategic advisory firm that provides advice and representation to corporations seeking to raise capital and engage in M&A transactions. Evitarus also conducts experiments, opinion research, and public policy analysis on behalf of elected officials, corporate stakeholders, and policy decision-makers in connection with political and strategic initiatives.

Mr. Byerly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, as a Lawson Class of 1919 Scholar, in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College, and an MPA from the School of International & Public Affairs at Columbia University.  His securities registrations include Series 63, 79, and 82.
