James Walker

James Walker is a geologist with over fifteen years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. As a project task manager, his expertise is in the characterization and remediation of physical sites that have been impacted by chemical releases. He has primarily served clients in the private sector, including aerospace, oilfield, manufacturing, power, and property management. While serving the public sector, he has worked with both state and municipal entities.

James is a double alumnus, earning his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Geology from Cal State LA. During his academic career, he was involved in a number of student organizations, including Circle K and Geology Club. He also received multiple honors, research scholarships, and Deans Lists mentions. In post-graduate life, James has volunteered for speaking engagements and mentoriong roles with the Geology Department and the Early Entrance Program.

As appointed co-chair, James aims to leverage his network of EEP alumni peers to holistically support the Early Entrance Program students and alumni to ensure others recognize the program's value and impact.
