Ileana Davalos (’86, ’93), Chair
Chief Human Resources Officer, Los Angeles Unified School District
Ileana is a double Cal State LA alumna earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development in 1986, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration in 1993. Ileana serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she oversees the Human Resources Division for the District and directs talent management strategy for Certificated staff made up of teachers, principals, and support personnel. Prior to this position, she served as the Director of Professional Learning and Leadership Development, where she delivered programs aimed to develop principals and other community professionals in education. She is also involved with organizations such as the Council of Mexican American Administrators, Association of Mexican Educators, and the Association of California School Administrators. Her husband, Victor, is also a Cal State LA alumnus and a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) police captain.
