What can I do at Grad Fair?
Grad Fair is your first chance to:
- Claim your Commencement tickets (student I.D. required)
- Pick up your Grad Pack
- Purchase your cap and gown (doctoral candidate gowns must be pre-ordered at the University Bookstore by contacting 323 343-2500)
- Take graduation portraits or schedule a future photo shoot
- Reserve commencement flowers
- Purchase graduation announcements and class rings
- Design and purchase your own custom sashes
- Join the Cal State LA Alumni Association
How can I prepare for Grad Fair?

Do I need to attend both days of Grad Fair?
No, you do not need to attend Grad Fair on both days. Grad Fair is held over a span of two days to accommodate all students' schedules.
Am I required to purchase a Grad Pack in order to graduate?
No, you are not required to purchase a Grad Pack in order to graduate. Grad Packs do, however, contain your first set of exclusive, limited edition alumni swag that cannot be purchased elsewhere.
