For Assessment 2022, Student Life partners gathered data pertaining to the Personal, Social, and Professional Identity Development domain.
- Personal, Social, and Professional Identity Development: Cal State LA students pursue personal growth and understanding. They act independently with integrity, accountability, ethical consideration and advocacy for self and others. They achieve positive interpersonal relationships within multicultural settings, including valuing, respecting and learning from diversity. They understand, articulate and connect knowledge and interdisciplinary skills to career and life after graduation. They identify and connect with mentors who encourage and support them in successfully pursuing their goals and dreams.
Associated Students, Inc.
Associated Students, Inc., assessed changes to their Scholarship Textbook Program.
Athletics
Eddie Games allowed the student-athletes to engage, build, and develop personal and social relationships amongst the Athletics department.
Career Center
The Career Exploration Network was designed to help first-year students explore potential majors and career paths.
Cross Cultural Centers
The Cross-Cultural Centers looked at a program dedicated to connecting and supporting Native American student success at Cal State LA.
Center for Student Involvement
The Center for Student Involvement looked at their Spring Spa and Legacy Experience events.

Educational Opportunity Program
Summer Bridge is a six-week academic and social program for students entering Cal State LA through the Educational Opportunity Program as special admits.
Housing & Residence Life
Housing looked at a 13-day training for Resident Assistants and Programming Assistants. It is conducted in August before students arrive to campus and January before the spring semester begins.
New Student & Family Engagement
NSFE assessed their Orientation Leader Academy is a semester-long training course that prepares Orientation Leaders to welcome new students to the University.
Office for Students with Disabilities
The Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) assessed:

Recreation
Cal State LA Recreation participated in a pilot study about Weight Inclusive Thinking for Fitness Spaces (WIT FITS).
Student Health Center
The Student Health Center assessed the Peer Health Educator program.
Veterans Resource Center
Connect with the VRC is a monthly open forum for military-connected students provide feedback, receive VA updates and critical benefit reminders, and socialize.
