Connect with the VRC is a monthly open forum where military-connected students build community, receive VA updates and critical benefit reminders, socialize, and tell us how the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) can improve services and programs,. Military-connected students can grab pizza and drinks at the end of the event.
Provides a sense of belonging and opportunity to connect and develop rapport with other military-connected students.
They become aware of vital VA updates regarding their educational benefits.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a low turnout at the Connect with the VRC sessions and it was hard to gauge students. However, the VRC continued providing programming to engage, connect, and inform all military-connected students to better provide a positive college experience.
The VRC will continue to analyze this data and revise future evaluations to expand services to the needs of our students.
