The SELA Initiative produces high-quality public policy research about Southeast Los Angeles County that informs and empowers community stakeholders and illuminates the key policy decisions that lie ahead for the region. As part of the process, the Institute identifies and recruits distinguished scholars to conduct the research and collaborates with them to ensure that the work will be accessible to the community.
