On the Record: Conversations About Public Leadership is our signature fireside chat series spotlighting civic leaders navigating defining moments, from immigration raids and climate disasters to civil rights rollbacks. Launched in Fall 2025 with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, the series offers an inside look at how critical decisions are made, how crises are experienced from within, and how leadership rises to meet the moment. Through candid public conversations, On the Record educates and activates Angelenos by highlighting innovative leadership during times of challenge and transformation.
