Discover how to turn your Cal State LA experience into what comes next. This event connects you with research, internship, volunteering, career, and NSS graduate school opportunities. Whether you are exploring your first campus experience or preparing for life after graduation, you will leave with practical steps and people to talk to.


Who should attend

  • Freshmen and sophomores: Start building experience through research, volunteering, and internships.

  • Juniors and seniors: Prepare for graduate school and competitive careers, refine your resume, and practice how to talk with faculty and employers.

  • Admissions and applying through Cal State Apply for graduate programs

  • How to speak with faculty about graduate school and request letters of recommendation

  • Using your Cal State LA experience to strengthen your resume and interview skills

4:00 pm — Information Fair

  • Research and training programs: REU, CSU-SPaRA, MMUF, MORE Programs, and department faculty and student research

  • Career Center: internships and services available to students

  • Engagement, Service, and the Public Good: volunteering

  • Pre-professional advising: Clinical Lab Science, Medical School, and Law
