Student Profile: Tammy Murray

With an associate of science transfer degree in-hand, Tammy Murray already had the CSU system in mind. Living and working full-time in the area, Cal State LA Downtown was the best choice to pursue a bachelor of science in business administration due to a convenient location, and its evening and online classes.

 

Tammy is a self-employed construction management consultant. "I really enjoy working in the construction management field," says Murray. "I get the tangible proof of accomplishment every time a building is completed. My goal at this point

in my career is to complete my degree and attain industry certifications so that I may enhance my reputation and skills in the consulting marketplace."

 

"The instructors have all been knowledgeable and accessible, providing interesting and thought-provoking coursework," continues Murray. "Many other students

in the business administration program are working part- or full-time and I get a real sense of camaraderie as we share the same commitment to completing the program."
