Cal State L.A.'s annual Honors Convovation marked the start of the year end festivities for the College of Business and Economics. During the evening, the CBE inducted many of its students into the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma honors society. BGS members, family, friends, and CBE faculty were in attended to honor the selected individuals.
Following the BGS induction, the CBE hosted its own ceremony to honor those business students who have academically excelled during their time at Cal State L.A. Student speaker, Neda Abousaidi, gave an inspiring speech regarding the journey to obtaining her MBA and alumni Emilio Campos returned to provide students with the perspective of how the CBE positively impacted his personal and professional life.
