Congratulations to Andres Cheng!
Andres is an IS student who just began his internship with Cedar’s Sinai in late February, 2016. His new internship has allowed him to learn and grow in an environment with motivated health care professional share a common goal—to provide patient care to anyone who enters the doors. Andres shares the same vision as these individuals. Over the course of this internship he wishes to learn skills and techniques that he can carry with him forever.
Some of the tasks he performs at Cedar’s Sinai is work with Senior Auditors and Staff Auditors to go over the different operations and risk management areas that can be improved there. Once an audit opportunity is presented or identified, their team will directly meet with the client and identify the risks and controls in place to mitigate the problem.
As far as the culture and environment, Cedars Sinai has a very friendly environment where all ideas and opinions are welcomed. Andres is very thankful to be a part of Cedars Sinai, a place where he can call home.
