Our research group is working to unravel the mechanisms by which cyclodextrins effectively trap molecules in complex environments. Using advanced organic synthetic chemistry techniques, we strategically modify cyclodextrin rings to optimize their ability to capture specific molecules. We employ spectroscopy to meticulously characterize and comprehend their interactions with other molecules. Furthermore, we are pioneering innovative chemical approaches to produce tailored cyclodextrins with exceptional precision and efficiency.
