WELCOME
Our research group focuses on understanding how cyclodextrins can trap molecules in complex environments. We use organic synthetic chemistry to decorate the cyclodextrin rings to tune their ability to trap molecules of interest. Then we use spectroscopy to characterize and study their interactions with other molecules. We are also exploring unique chemistries to generate functionalized cyclodextrins in a facile and controlled manner.
