#SpeakersLecture

As part of the Institute’s Distinguished Lecturer series, the inaugural Speaker’s Lecture, was hosted in partnership with the Center for California Studies at Sacramento State University, on the campus of Cal State LA, on September 8, 2016.
The lecture featured Speaker Anthony Rendon and is a way for legislative leadership to engage with students and the broader academic community about critical current issues.
“This series is squarely in line with the Center for California Studies’ mission, which is to bridge academia and government in the service of democratic governance in California. This series will facilitate conversations between legislative leadership and the state’s largest university system.” – Dr. Steve Boilard, Executive Director, Center for California Studies
