CETL Faculty Fellows Program

CETL Faculty Fellowships

CETL Faculty Fellowships become available as colleges, via grants, request an embedded position with the Center for Effective Teaching and Learning. Faculty Fellows also extend the CETL mission. Fellows are both ambassadors and advocates for equitable teaching practice in a selected area.  Recent CETL Fellowships include STEM, Inclusive Teaching, Lecturer Support, and Career-Relevant Instruction, funded by grants from the National Science Foundation and Department of Education, among others.

Within their scope of influence, Faculty Fellows design and create CETL programming in collaboration with staff, facilitate educational development experiences during their fellowship, and provide ongoing support for future faculty use—ensuring the programming continues after a grant concludes. Fellows also serve as peer coaches for colleagues, and act in a consultative capacity.

Faculty Fellows participate, as much as possible, in the broader workings of the center and are considered honorary CETL members.
