To our new cohort, ¡bienvenides! You are joining a graduate program grounded in critical consciousness, activist-rooted knowledge, and commitment to comunidad. In the Department of Chicana(o) & Latina(o) Studies, our M.A. paths prepare you not only for advanced study such as a Ph.D. but also for teaching in K–16 classrooms, working in nonprofit and government sectors, and serving as public intellectuals who shape justice-centered futures.
