- Larry Harlow Salsa Gala excites an enthusiastic audience!
Legendary salsa pianist, composer and producer Larry Harlow and special guests Bobby Matos, Danilo Lozano, Adonis Puentes, Victor Barrientos, Fausto Cuevas, Juan Karlos, and Eddie Resto with the CSULA Afro-Latin Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Paul De Castro inspired an enthusiastic audience at the Luckman Concert Hall, Saturday night, November 15. The concert featured the best of Afro-Latin music and was a benefit to establish the Larry Harlow Fund for Afro-Latin Music at California State University, Los Angeles. Proceeds from the event will be used to expand the music department’s graduate degree program in Afro Latin Music and provide student scholarships and other academic support.
