The Cal State LA University Orchestra is open to intermediate and advanced players, and is offered as a course for 1 credit. Non-music majors, members of the University Community, and local musicians are welcome to join us to play! Meets Monday evenings during the Fall and Spring semester, 6:00pm-8:45pm, in MUS 150.
Activities include:
- rehearsal and performance of string orchestra repertoire
- sight reading
- ensemble technique building exercises
- improvisation workshops
- masterclass-style technical coaching
