Cal State LA is proud to offer a variety of choral ensembles for the aspiring professional musician. Conducted by Dr. Christopher Gravis, director of choral studies, the ensembles exhibit a high level of performance excellence. Each ensemble  performs concerts both on and off campus and provides students with a wide exposure to, and performance of, the standard and contemporary choral literature.

 

CHAMBER SINGERS (MUS 4259)

 

The Cal State LA Chamber Singers  is the University's premier choral ensemble. Comprised of the top singers,  the ensemble performs several concerts and participates in many choral festivals every year.

 

CONCERT CHOIR (MUS 3269)

 

The Concert Choir  is a large choral ensemble open to all students. The ensemble performs a wide variety of musical styles ranging from jazz and contemporary works, to  classical choral masterworks.
