
Concert Choir
The CSULA Concert Choir is the university’s principle large choral ensemble. It has a long tradition of performing works drawn from the rich large choral ensemble traditions. The choir regularly performs on campus and in the region, and has traveled internationally several times over its history.
Auditions for Concert Choir are held at the first rehearsal of the ensemble each quarter.

Chamber Singers
Chamber Singers is a select choral group that is only open to current students through audition. Chamber Singers specializes in a diverse repertoire of choral music suited to moderate sized choral ensembles. The ensemble has been recognized for the quality of its choral interpretations and boasts alumni who have gone on to lead fine choral programs in schools, colleges and universities.

University Chorus
University Chorus is open to any student at California State University, Los Angeles. Community members have also found this to be a wonderful ensemble for continuing their engagement with choral music. Community members who wish to enroll in University Chorus may do so through extended education. No audition is required.

CSULA Jazz Choir
The jazz tradition at CalStateLA is strong. From its early beginnings,
the study of jazz music has be an important component of the music
program at the university. The jazz choir continues this
tradition. The jazz choir is a select group only open to current
students through audition.
