The UEC Fall Symposium: The Wild Side of Cal State LA

Document, build, and celebrate biodiversity at Cal State LA!

We invite you to share your creative and scientific works that document the abundant plants (native and non-native), trees, birds, insects, and animals at Cal State LA.  Contribute a song, poem, painting,  chart, poster, drawing, story, film, video, recipe, nature journal of a wild place on campus, and submit it for the UEC Fall Symposium.  We are calling students, faculty, and staff to join this multidisciplinary coalition of creativity and science.   Poets, singers, artists, writers, filmmakers, documentary makers, photographers, biologists, ecologists, geographers, gardeners, tea makers, natural healers, natural history buffs, wildlife enthusiasts, urban birders, this means you! Contributions from individuals, classes, and organically formed groups of collaborators will be welcomed. 

 

Submissions need to be submitted to Dr. Choi Chatterjee ([email protected]) or Dr. Eric Wood ( [email protected]) no later then Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
