Long Beach is relatively flat. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Long Beach Transit Gallery, serving bus and rail routes from local airports. All conference events will take place at the hotel except for the Friday night reception/dinner at the Museum of Latin American Art. Nonetheless, we recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Long Beach is located on the coast, and the weather may fluctuate throughout the day. We recommend you bring several layers of clothes and be prepared for changes in temperature.
When exploring downtown Long Beach at night, we always recommend walking with at least one friend.
