Decriminalization of sex work; where do you stand? The presence of economic and cultural influences that lead diverse communities to engage in sex work is a reality. Discerning if one should support or oppose those who engage in sex work has become an issue that has split the feminist community at large. Alison Bass, author of Getting Screwed: Sex Workers and the Law, stops by Cal State LA to discuss the social, political, and public health ramifications that follow the constant criminalization of sex work.
