Description

Current-day Ferguson, MO issues aside, St. Louis County has had a long-term history of racial and housing segregation policies that have shaped the racial and social justice canvas of the area. The 1972 implosion of the Pruitt-Igoe public housing project in St. Louis has become one of the most iconic images in the urban history of the United States, and marked the abrupt end of many communities that had found profound meaning in living there. Directed by Chad Freidrichs, 2011, 79 minutes.
