Description
The “old lady and the hot McDonald’s coffee” story – a true story, by the way – continues to be used as a basis of why many believe too many people use “frivolous” lawsuits to earn free money from companies and individuals. Hot Coffee challenges the assumptions of “jackpot justice” by exploring four people whose lives were destroyed by the institutions they sought justice from using our legal system.
