Cal State LA uses Risk and Safety Solutions (RSS) to create and manage any Biohazard Use Authorizations (BUAs) to ensure compliance and safety. Only researchers working with biohazards should complete a BUA. The BUA will be processed and overseen by the Biosafety Officer and the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).
