Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)

The IBC strives to ensure the highest safety and compliance standards in research involving biological materials. We are committed to safeguarding the well-being of our academic community and the environment by adhering to internal guidelines, policies, and regulatory standards set by local, state, and federal authorities.

Mission and Goals

Through the IBC, we oversee research practices, promote responsible handling of biological materials, and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those established by NIH, CDC, FDA, USDA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA.
