COVID-19 Vaccination Information

The CSU now requires COVID-19 vaccination for fall 2021. The policy requires that everyone provide proof of vaccination or get tested at least once a week. There are many opportunities to receive the vaccine.

 

On-Campus COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Clinics

Cal State LA is hosting a community health fair today, Oct. 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the bottom level of Parking Structure A. Free parking will be available in Lot 2.

Plenty of flu shots will be available, and walk-ups are welcome. COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine doses will be available for those getting their first or second doses. Limited Pfizer vaccine boosters may also be available. Flu shots are available for those who are 9 years and older and COVID-19 vaccines are available for those 12 years and older.

Appointments are not required, but you can make an appointment for first or second COVID-19 vaccine doses using the links below:

We invite you to join us to meet Eddie the Golden Eagle and hear Golden Eagle Radio live. Free boxes of food and other community resources will also be available.

Remember to bring a document or ID that includes your first and last name. The COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot are free regardless of your health insurance status or your immigration status. No questions will be asked about immigration status. You’re welcome to bring friends and family who are not vaccinated or need a flu shot.

Cal State LA, QueensCare Health Centers, and Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis are hosting the health fair. QueensCare staff will administer the shots.

State and Local Government

COVID-19 vaccination appointments can be made at county vaccination sites, city vaccination sites, as well as state vaccination sites using the MyTurn scheduling system or by calling (833) 422-4255. You can also contact your medical provider for vaccination information.

AltaMed Community Vaccination Events

AltaMed is hosting community vaccination events in collaboration with multiple community organizations and businesses. No appointment is required. Anyone 12 years or older, whether they are a patient or not, can get a vaccine, while supplies last. The vaccine is free regardless of your immigration or health insurance status. The first 50 vaccinated at one of its community events are eligible to receive a gift card. All locations offer the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
