PLUS Leaders are students who have successfully completed the course and are trained to help you work through challenging concepts, practice problems, and prepare for exams. Support is available individually or in small groups.

What to Expect

 PLUS Sessions are interactive study sessions—not another lecture. You will work with classmates, ask questions, practice course concepts, and learn strategies from a student who has successfully completed the course.

Two ways to make an appointment:

  1. Call 323-343-6860
  2. Click on NavigateLA and follow the steps below:
    1. Click "Get Assistance"
    2. Under "What type of appointment would you like to schedule?", select Learning Assistance
    3. Under "Service", select the appropriate course for your PLUS session
    4. Under "Pick a Date", select the date desired
    5. Click "Find Available Time", and select your desired time
    6. Once you confirmed your desired time, please check your email, as you will receive the location of your PLUS session.
