I am originally from Kiev, Ukraine. Right after I finished High School, my family and I moved to the United States (1992). I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from UCLA in 1999 and received my Ph.D. from UCLA in June of 2004. This is my thirteenth year teaching here at Cal State LA. I enjoy teaching and having many students in my office learning mathematics.

Ellen Drost is Professor of Management in the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles. She teaches MBA and undergraduate courses in Strategic Management, International Business, Organizational Theory, and General Management. She has authored over 100 refereed journal articles, conference papers and symposia, cases, and book chapters on international human resource management, cross-cultural leadership, research methodology, entrepreneurship, and organizational culture.
