The department is proud to announce two new assistant professors joining the faculty in Fall 2014. Carol Cui's research interests include macroeconomics and econometrics. Devika Hazra's interests include monetary and fiscal policy.
The Department of Economics and Statistics offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with an option in Applied Economics and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The department also has the Business Economics option in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Students can receive an Economics Minor. The department offers a Master’s degree in which graduate students can take the Financial Economics or Global Economics option.
