Welcome to Accounting Programs at Cal State LA!
Accounting faculty and staff work together to build accounting programs that meet the needs of current and future students who plan to work in the fields of professional accounting, auditing, information systems, tax, and consulting. For undergraduate students, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree offers an Accounting Option. For graduate students, Master of Science in Accounting degree is offered. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting program is also available for those students who plan to expand their expertise into the accounting and related fields.
To support student success in accounting programs, advisement services are available as well as career placement services. Accounting students can also join various student organizations on campus, such as the Accounting Society, ALPFA, and Beta Alpha Psi Beta Lambda Chapter 57. Students are also offered with the opportunity to participate in the Cal State LA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program if they are interested in building their professional careers in the fields of tax accounting.
