Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Science Center

One of the many things that set Cal State L.A. apart from other universities is the Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Science Center.

The Center, opened in 2007, contains not only the University's leading graduate Criminal Justice and Criminalistics program, but also the Los Angeles Regional Crime Lab, with scientists from the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The partnership between Cal State L.A. and the agencies has led to the creation of forensic science internships and research opportunities for the University's students.
