Grand Opening of
New Infant/Toddler Playground
at Cal State L.A.

What:
Centro de Niños y Padres at California State University, Los Angeles will celebrate the grand opening of its new infant/toddler playground. Playground reconstruction was supported by the University's Charter College of Education and a generous grant support from SHARE, Inc.

When:
Tuesday, September 26, 2000, 10 a.m.

Where:
Cal State L.A., King Hall basement C158. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Freeway, at the interchange of 10 and 710 Freeways. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots C and G or the upper level of Parking Structure II.

More:
Centro de Niños y Padres, part of the division of Special Education at Cal State L.A., provides early home and school intervention for children from birth to three years of age who are identified by the Regional Center as having developmental disabilities and children who are at risk. Its goal is to provide family-focused services that will enhance the child's overall development and the quality of family life. Centro de Niños y Padres serves families in the surrounding communities of East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.

SHARE, Inc. has supported organizations serving people with disabilities for 47 years. The ladies of SHARE, Inc. are committed to raising money and helping organize programs to better the lives of the developmentally disabled and abused.
