Cal State LA is committed to your academic success. Rest assured there is more than one path to graduate from Cal State LA. Our local community colleges provide you with an excellent education and a solid foundation to continue your education at Cal State LA when you are ready to transfer. Students from our local community college get the highest admissions consideration among our community college applicants.

Consider getting an ADT!  The ADT Associate Degree for Transfer is designed to provide a clear pathway for meeting transfer requirements and degree completion.  We highly encourage students to pursue an (ADT) from their local California Community College. Cal State LA’s Admissions and Recruitment unit is here to assist you on this path. We have a dedicated team that regularly meets with current community college students at their respective institutions to answer any questions, and works with them to keep them on track for transfer. We also host numerous recruitment activities to keep you in the know.
