The Health Promotion and Education Center (HPEC) offers American Heart Association (AHA) CPR training for eligible Cal State LA students who are required to complete CPR training in support of their academic programs. The center's CPR program is conducted in association with CPR for Life, LLC (an authorized AHA Training Center). Students are encouraged to verify their training requirements with their academic departments and internship sites prior to scheduling and paying for training and skills sessions.
Student Health Ambassadors at Cal State LA (SHAC) serve to educate students about health and wellness, advocate for policies to benefit student health on campus, and empower students to be agents of change within the campus community. Stop by our interest meeting to learn more on how to become a certified peer health educator and part of SHAC.

Today, Oscar is the founder and chief empowerment officer of Aspira Consulting. He is an introvert turned international speaker and hopes to empower you, so opportunities come to you. All Cal State LA students are welcome to participate.
