The Pasifika Film Festival of Los Angeles is a partnership between Island City Media and Cal State LA, celebrating the diverse cultures of Melanesians, Micronesians & Polynesians through film. This year, the festival will take place on May 6, 2023, showcasing a selection of feature films, documentaries, and short films that highlight the stories and perspectives of Pacific Islander communities. The festival aims to promote cultural understanding, representation, and inclusion of Pacific Islander voices in the film industry and is a unique opportunity to experience the richness and complexity of Pacific Islander cultures through the medium of film.
