Join #StartupCalStateLA for a workshop, panel and Q&A introducing several local changemakers from our community who are trying to make a difference. The event will begin with a workshop at 4 p.m. led by Marina Terteryan, co-founder of Good Projects, about how to address local issues in your community using creative problem solving. A panel and Q&A session will follow, featuring Jorge Nuno, founder and chief executive officer of Nuevo South Community Development Corporation; Rudy Espinoza, executive director of L.U.R.N.; Mike Blockstein, founder and principal of Public Matters, LLC; and Cal State LA student Oscar Aguayo, chief executive officer of Conaxion. The event is hosted by the College of Business and Economics Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the College of Natural and Social Sciences Political Science and Sociology departments.
