Description
Witness Mulberry Child: A Memoir of China, Jian Ping’s coming-of-age story as the daughter of a senior government official and her family’s struggle to survive China’s Cultural Revolution from 1966-1979. The story follows Ping’s life, addressing universal issues between mothers and daughters, triumph and adversity, and overcoming immigrant challenges. Directed by Susan Morgan Cooper, 2011, 85 minutes.
