A message to the Class of 2025 from President Berenecea Johnson Eanes.
Each college will have a virtual college program, in lieu of a printed program, and will include a greeting from the college dean, a student address (if applicable), and the list of students for the college.
Each ceremony will have a downloadable day-of program that will include the sequence of events, the stage party participants, and the college faculty marshal participants.

The Commencement photographs taken on stage by GradImages was emailed to each graduate via email. Graduates have the opportunity to purchase prints after they have seen their proofs.
The stage photos can also be viewed and ordered directly by visiting the GradImages website by following the instructions below:
- Enter the last name of the graduate in the LAST NAME entry field.
- Enter Cal State LA in the SCHOOL NAME entry field.
- Select 2025 in the GRADUATION YEAR drop down menu.

You will receive an email from StageClip with a personalized video clip of you crossing the stage during the Commencement ceremony, a special moment to celebrate and share with your family and friends. If you are a master’s degree graduate, your video will also include a clip of your hooding at the Graduate Recognition Hall.

You can honor your time at Cal State LA and make a meaningful difference on campus and the community beyond with a contribution to the 2025 Class Gift. This will support the University’s Urban Ecology Center (UEC), a critical initiative committed to environmental education, urban sustainability, and the creation of green spaces for future Golden Eagles.
For bachelor's degree graduates who did not attend Commencement, please contact the Commencement Office two weeks after the ceremonies for additional information.
Graduating students will automatically receive their diploma by mail, whether or not they attended Commencement or not, after official certification that you have successfully completed all degree requirements. Please allow up to 4 weeks for the Graduation Office to review ALL applicants individually.
After your degree is awarded, you can track the progress of your diploma by clicking on the button below.
For graduates who did not attend Commencement and wish to receive a diploma cover, they will be available for pick-up only at the Graduation Office two weeks after the ceremonies.
Please email the Graduation Office to arrange for pick-up during their normal business hours.
